Hong Kong FLL Robotics Tournament
The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups introduced FIRST LEGO League International Programme to Hong Kong in 2005. The local competition known as Hong Kong FLL Robotics Tournament (FLL) has been warmly received by local schools since its launch, with over 6,500 participants from 190 schools.
Teams are required to design, build and program a robot on their own in order to complete the missions on a table-top playing field. Moreover, under the guidance of coaches, they have to conduct a research on a real-world problem, such as energy crisis, food safety, trash recycling, etc., and create a solution with the knowledge of sciences and technologies. Through FLL, students not only could learn various concepts of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), but also develop their creativity, teamwork and critical thinking, as well as cultivate their positive mind to face and solve different problems.
FLL (FIRST LEGO League) was formed in 1998 by the LEGO Company and its partner FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology). FIRST is a non-profit organization with a mission to inspire the younger generation to celebrate science and technology.

香港機關王競賽
《香港機關王競賽》是一項旨在培養青少年對科學原理、再生能源、機械設計的認識與應用的活動。參賽隊伍將展開動手設計及搭建機關組件的神奇旅程，發揮創意思維，並揉合科學、科技、工程及數學(STEM)的概念，應用在關卡設計上，學習系統思考、團體合作及解難能力。
為培育青少年在機械設計與科學應用上的創意，香港青年協會於2010年首次由台灣引入《香港機關王競賽》，並得到Babyboom Learning Co. Ltd.及Gigo智高實業股份有限公司支持，以及創新科技署贊助。競賽至今已吸引逾1300名來自122間中、小學及教育中心的學生參賽。

2018/19「創意編程設計大賽」現已接受報名
以配合STEM教育發展，引起年青人對編程及作品設計的興趣，香港青年協會向全港中小學及青年人舉辦「創意編程設計大賽」，以編程激發無限創意。
大賽能增進參加者對編程的認識，讓他們更深入了解各款部件背後的運作原理。隊伍亦能透過設計及組裝模型的過程中，提昇其創意思維及解難能力。
